I even got some ERR:VALIDATION with some Axe apps on my side. Weird.

Finance isn't an application. It's just another OS menu, like Stats or Math. They put it under Apps because they ran out of keys.

Edit: This thread is moving like an IRC chat. So why doesn't every one go to IRC?

That error's been around for a while. It happens when an OS isn't signed correctly, while it's getting transferred (I think).

When an app is transferred, IIRC.  If it's an OS, I believe it just crashes and turns back on to the "please install OS now" thing.
