Yeah, I lost some programs on my TI-86 before because they weren't backed up (the TI-86 doesn't even have Flash ROM though). QUOTE | And I code on calc because it's much faster to test. no need to save program, open emulator, (trying to) load programs in the emu (hoping it will not freeze if it's wabbit and it doesnt always work in PindurTI if the file is for archive), test, etc

Although I like coding on my calculator for a few reasons (mainly because it's more portable than a computer), I don't really think it's really much faster than programming on a computer. Example: I'm have a TIGCC project open, I want to test it, and with the click of an icon or by pressing a key combination, TiEmu opens up (if it wasn't already open, and it probably already was already open because I had pressed the icon/key combination to test the program before), and the program is automatically run without me having to type in the program's name or anything.

Good find, nitacku. I'll see how this compares to Y's dock and ObjectDock. EDIT: I tried it, and it's great. :king: It seems to have better performance that ObjectDock and is more customizable than Y's dock.

QuoteBegin-Halifax+20 Nov, 2007, 18:52--> QUOTE (Halifax @ 20 Nov, 2007, 18:52) | I used to have a link to an ~82 page PDF file that talked about all the possible memory and speed optimizations that could be done in C..., if I find it I will post it. It has been very helpful to me. |
Please find it! AaroneusTheGreat: IT'S HERE!!!

I think it's pretty good. It's a bit long, but it seems as if many songs from this genre, including xlibman's music, are kind of long.

I think it's decent, but maybe you could add some more melodies and beats or somthing? I guess you did say that it still isn't finished, though. It actually reminds me a lot of Epic Journey Through the Galaxy.

DJ_Omnimaga: SPASM, and Brass are assemblers, and Latenite is an IDE that uses Brass - just for clarification.
And, I thought Darth Android already released DASM...? I remember even downloading it too (before my hard drive was erased due to installing a new operating system), unless you mean he hasn't released a "stable" and "final" release that isn't a pre-release/beta/alpha version.

Welcome! C with TIGCC really is awesome...it's so much more powerful and faster than TI-BASIC, and yet it still easier than assembly. You can even combine C and assembly in your TIGCC projects if you want. If you're interested in programming for the 68K platform, I highly recommend it. See http://tigcc.ticalc.org .
