========================Piworld Progress Update #9========================
Total Progress: [++........] (>20%)
Screenshot/Demo: n/a
Things being worked on:
I finished the storyline but some people are reading over it which is why there have been a lack of updates.
I have also started a "Piworld 2" storyline but that does NOT mean I will necessarily make it into a game some day.

I would be careful eating those though, they probably are very explosive

right now it is at 0% because it was lost when my hard drive was wiped and I havent worked on it since. My plan has been to start it back up again after I finish piworld, but if I get a strong enough urge to work on it before then I might

you can see what it was like before the wipe happened though: http://i534.photobucket.com/albums/ee348/Miotatsu/Untitled-50.png

also sorry for the offtopicness, FreeBASIC looks cool

sorry for the fairly large delay but here is the running forward animation. I decided to keep his arms still for running this time instead of swinging

yeah originally I was thinking about trying SMF but Kingspore and Spawn both recommended I go with phpBB3, they also helped set it up for me which was nice. :P
but yeah so far I am really liking it

also I will have some animated sprites up later today :)

========================Piworld Progress Update #7========================
Total Progress: [+.........] (>15%)
Screenshot/Demo: (see avatar)
Things being worked on:
made new sprites, storyline slowly but steadily progressing

lately I have been lacking in writing progress updates, but progress has been happening none the less!
A piworld sprites poll was made and from it I developed a new main character sprite. This style of sprite will
be the basis for the rest of the piworld graphics. Also mionet has a completely new forum
(I switched from zetaboards to phpbb3) and the site has been giving a matching theme.
www.mionet2.com
This marks a fairly big change for mionet as it moves away from being a site for randomness/spam and more
focused on game dev. Also school will be starting soon so I have been feeling rather pressed for time, and I
really am shooting for /at least/ finishing the storyline before summer vacation is over. I will begin posting
updates on the storyline as well here (in terms of how many pages completed). Once the storyline has been
finished I will continue building off of my older work to create a plan for the state machine, map file structure,
etc. After this is done I will create a map editor and begin creating the actual game content!

new update, I moved the arms down, cleaned it up a little bit, and thinned him down. I also lowered the head

I did a little sprite-plastic-surgery after I posted :P
does this look even better? (see attachment)

also I am thinking about making the arms more like the original ()
or should I just leave them like they are?

sorry for the delay, I got caught up watching cowboy bebop and then ended up being busyish with all the back-to-school stuff. Because I fear I won't have too much time to work on this during the school year (unless I get a study hall) I am going to skip the next vote and go with my newest sprite. The newest sprite was made with the following in mind: no outline, hair shading, very simple and solid colors, a little bit of clothing shading. I also added more detail to the face and modified the arms a little bit. I would still like feedback on it though, if you guys don't like it or want to see some changes I may go back and revise it!

anyway I will attach it in a sec
Edit: attached

Computer Programming / Re: Brainfuck Programs

I am fairly certain there are errors in this program but there is no freaking way I am going to debug it. anyway it is a xp calculator for stick adventures online written in brainfuck. It takes lvl for input and outputs the answer as an ascii character (or at least thats what it would do if it actually worked)

thats the most complex bf program I have ever written.
